"Today each girl on the courts played gritty, Cowgirl tough tennis," said Head Coach Dean Clower.

"The girls were extremely disciplined and quite-simply, just outfought Tulsa. Tulsa is always a top-40 team year in and year out so this was a good win. Tulsa is always well coached in doubles and singles so it took a lot to break through them on many of the lines "Diesel" might not be happy but the team is getting a steak dinner tonight!"

Next up, Wyoming has a bit of break in action before coming to Laramie for its first home matches of the season. The Cowgirls will host Minnesota at 10 a.m., February 7 before facing Idaho at 11 a.m., the following day in Laramie.
