* University of Wyoming press release
LARAMIE -- The University of Wyoming Cowboys will return to the desert to host their second event of the spring season in Palm Desert, Calif., on Wednesday-Friday, March 1-3 when they welcome 15 other teams to the 2023 Wyoming Desert Intercollegiate.
The Classic Club in Palm Desert, Calif., will serve as the host course for this week’s event.
A year ago, Charlotte won the team title, shooting a 839 (-25) and Ben Woodruff of Charlotte captured medalist honors, firing a 206 (-10). While Charlotte doesn’t return to defend its title in 2023, third-place Wyoming is one of 11 teams returning from last year’s tournament field.
