On the track, senior Jaheim Ferguson ran to a third-place finish in the 400-meter hurdles. With a time of 51.98, he earned his second career outdoor conference selection.
Senior Ryker Holtzen took second in the 3,000-meter steeplechase with a time of 8:38.46. This time broke the previous conference meet record and earned the Cowboys eight team points.
Junior Jacob White earned the last podium for the Pokes when he fought back for third in the 5,000 meters. His time of 13:37.74 extended his school record and broke the old meet record.
Freshman Taliah Morris had herself a meet even without making the podium. She earned 14 team points off two fourth-place finishes and one fifth-place finish.
