7.2.20 Day Party: Everything you need to know

LARAMIE -- Who wants to party?

Actually, who needs to party?

Quarantine, civil unrest and unknowns have filled our summer up to this point. Let's break that monotony a little and celebrate. After all, the calendar only strikes 7.2.20 once in a lifetime.

On July 2, we are hosting a shindig at The Library Sports Grille & Brewery in downtown Laramie. Originally, the plan was to rent out the upstairs and have a small get together. That has changed and evolved — a bunch.

Now, the plan goes something like this: Live music, block party, drink and food specials and possibly some high-profile guests.

And Wyoming fans. Tons of them.

Sound fun? Good. You're invited.

And that's not all.

The Holiday Inn in Laramie is getting in on the fun, too. From 3 to 6 p.m. at the 7220 Lounge inside the hotel, drink specials, giveaways and a full menus will be open to everyone attending the party at The Library. The management there is even holding a block of rooms at a special rate. Just tell them you're coming to celebrate 7.2.20.

If you aren't feeling like running a marathon the next day, the Holiday Inn is also featuring a "hangover" menu including $3 Bloody Marys and plenty of burgers starting at 10:30 a.m. July 3.
