Edmiston Named to Ray’s 8 by Ray Guy Award
LARAMIE -- Wyoming punter Bart Edmiston was named to Ray’s 8 by the Ray Guy Award on Monday. The honor goes to the top eight punters for the week, as it marks his first time on the list this season.

Edmiston was also named to the Ray Guy Award Ongoing Watch List.
"It means a lot," the junior said on Monday. "Like, it's a good accomplishment. It was one of my goals to be named on the watch list and get added to a Ray's 8 this year. Knowing I accomplished my goal is a good feeling, but also, I can't put all my attention on it. It's good to have, but I got to keep focusing and even getting better to help our my team."
Edmiston, a native of Ocean Springs, Miss. had a career day for the Brown and Gold against Colorado State. He averaged over 50 yards per punt in the contest with a punt of 65 yards, for the second longest of his career. He also pinned the Rams inside their 20-yard line a total of five times.
This season, Edmiston is averaging 45.3 yards per punt and has pinned opponents inside the 20-yard line 16 times.
