“It was a good tournament for us playing against some very competitive teams,” UW head coach Joe Jensen. “For us to be under par for three days is a great way to finish up our season. We were very competitive in a great field, and it is always a great sign doing that in the postseason. Kristof really finished well, and this is a springboard for him and the rest of the guys into the rest of the summer and next season. It was just a terrific experience and I’m just proud of the guys.”

Kristof Panke had a career tournament carding a 208 (-8) for a sixth-place finish tying for the best of his season. He shot a 68 (-4) for the final round. The eight-under par score was also the lowest for Wyoming this season. It was the lowest-tournament score by a Cowboy since Jimmy Dales was ten-under at the Ka’anapali Classic in 2021.

Jaren Calkins finished at 214 (-2) and tied for 17th place with a round of 74 (+2) on Sunday. Jimmy Dales was at even par 72 for the final round and finished the tournament tied for 30th place at 218 (+2). Dales birdie his final hole as a Cowboy.

Patrick Azevedo added a 73 (+1) in the final round and had a three-round total of 219 (+3) for a tie for 33rd place. Davis Seybert added a 74 (+2) for the final round and finished tied for 36th at 221 (+5).

Washington State ran away with the team title shooting at 823 (-41) for the event finishing 19 strokes ahead of TCU, who finished second. Anthony Delisanti of Valpo won the individual title at 201 (-15).

Wyoming will return most the lineup next season, as the only golfer out of eligibility is Dales.
