Sources: Wyoming Wideout Injured After Being Struck by Vehicle
MOUNT PLEASANT, Mich., -- Ke'Lyn Washom has yet to haul in his first college catch.
It won't happen tomorrow, either.

The redshirt freshman receiver was struck by a truck this week while riding on a motorized scooter in Laramie, multiple sources have told 7220sports.com. The Houston product is "bruised and scratched up" and is currently in concussion protocol.
Washom did not make the trip to Mount Pleasant, where Wyoming (1-1) will face Central Michigan (1-1) Saturday inside Kelly/Shorts Stadium. Kickoff is slated for 11 a.m. Mountain Time and the game will be televised on ESPN-Plus.
Washom hasn't been targeted in the air through two games, but that doesn't mean he hasn't been putting in work.
Last Saturday he laid a key fourth-quarter block, springing quarterback Tyler Hughes for a 13-yard gain on a 3rd-and-12. Four snaps later, the Cowboys took their first lead of the game in an eventual 21-13 victory over visiting Northern Colorado.
Washom spent the 2025 campaign tormenting the scout team, Wyoming head coach Jay Sawvel said this offseason. That production continued into spring and fall camp.
"He had a completely outstanding summer," he continued, speaking at Mountain West Media Days in Las Vegas last July. "Weight is in a good spot, and speeds are in a really good spot. Mentally, he's in a good place. I like his demeanor."
Sawvel also said Washom lost 11 pounds of body fat ahead of the season.
"We expect big things out of him," he added.
Sawvel added that tendinitis in his knee became troublesome for Washom in late August. He has been on the field for just 17 offensive snaps so far this season. Only five of those have been pass plays.
Washom, who stands 6-foot-1 and now weighs 205, was a three-star prospect out of Nimitz High School. A junior season that included 10 touchdown grabs drew attention from Washington, UNLV and others.
Wyoming could also be without the services of starting center Jason Maciejczak, who was sidelined in the second half of last Saturday's game with an apparent leg injury. His status, as of last Monday, is unknown. Linebacker Ethan Stuhlsatz (ankle) also left the game in the fourth quarter. Sawvel said during his weekly press conference the Wichita native could miss a practice but he expected him to play at CMU.
If those two can't go, they will likely be replaced by Johnathan Bush and Dash Bauman, respectively.
