All six of those quarterbacks have thrown an interception to Andrew Wingard. In fact, the former Wyoming safety has picked off Rivers, a future Pro Football Hall of Famer, twice.

Wingard hauled in a fourth-quarter gift Sunday in Los Angeles, helping his new team, the Arizona Cardinals, stun the football world in a Week-1 victory over the Chargers.

"I've been doing my best to stay in the process and not worry about those outcomes," Wingard told the media after the 26-14 win inside SoFi Stadium. "You know, it's weird. It's kind of a Catch-22: when you're so focused on the process, the outcomes just create themselves.

"It was a fun day -- a really fun day. A day I'll never forget, for sure."

Wingard, a Colorado native who played in Laramie from 2015-18, tallied four stops, including a pair of tackles for loss in his Arizona debut. He also forced a fumble.

The Chargers were 9.5-point favorites.

Below is a list of all the former Wyoming Cowboys and how they did in the opening week:

QB - Josh Allen (Buffalo Bills)
Allen dazzled as he almost always does in the Bills’ 36-31 win at Houston. He was 20-for-29 for 324 yards with two touchdowns. Allen added 23 yards on six carries with two more scores. The Bills open their new stadium on Thursday Night Football against Detroit.

S - Marcus Epps (Philadelphia Eagles)
Epps enjoyed a tremendous day in the Eagles’ 24-22 win over Washington. He piled up seven tackles. Philadelphia travels to Tennessee in Week 2.

DE - Carl Granderson (New Orleans Saints)
Granderson made his presence felt in the Saints’ 31-30 loss at Detroit on Sunday. He made two tackles and also registered a sack, a tackle for loss and a quarterback hit. New Orleans travels to Baltimore in Week 2.

TE - Treyton Welch (New Orleans Saints)
Welch played in the Saints’ 31-30 loss at Detroit. He participated in 16 snaps, 10 on offense and six on special teams. New Orleans travels to Baltimore in Week 2.

OL - Frank Crum (Denver Broncos)
Crum began his season in Denver on the injured reserve list. The Broncos lost at Kansas City, 31-10. Denver hosts Jacksonville in Week 2.

DE - Sabastian Harsh (Houston Texans)
Former Wyoming edge rusher Sabastian Harsh registered a tackle in his NFL debut Sunday in a 36-31 home loss to Buffalo. The undrafted free agent, who spent his final collegiate season at North Carolina State, made the Texans' 53-man roster out of camp. Houston hosts the Bengals in Week 2.

Offensive lineman Caden Barnett (Chicago Bears), tight end Evan Svoboda (Los Angeles Chargers) and wideout Isaiah Neyor (Green Bay Packers) are all on their respective team’s practice squads. Fellow tight end John Michael Gyllenborg (Kansas City Chiefs) suffered a season-ending injury in fall camp. Defensive end Solomon Byrd (Houston Texans) was placed on injured reserve.
