National Website Predicts The Buffalo Bills 2021 Record
The Buffalo Bills started training camp on Wednesday and if you ask most fans how the Bills will do this season, you're probably going to get a lot of positive reactions.
There's good reason for that -- the Bills finished 13-3 in 2020 and won the AFC East for the first time in 25 years. They made it all the way to the AFC Championship game, led by quarterback Josh Allen, who had a breakthrough season.
The Bills retained most of their roster and beefed up their defensive line, so as one would expect, they're predicted to be one of the best teams in the NFL this season.
USA TODAY released their 2021 record predictions for all 32 NFL teams last week, and they have predicted the Bills will finish 12-5 and win the AFC East for a second-straight season.
If the records seem a little "off," it's because there will be 17 games this season (18 weeks). So those 12-4, 11-5 and 10-6 records will be no more.
They also predicted the Miami Dolphins will make the playoffs as a wild card team and the New England Patriots miss the postseason with a 9-8 record.
According to USA TODAY's predictions, the AFC playoff teams will consist of the:
- Cleland Browns (bye)
- Buffalo Bills
- Kansas City Chiefs
- Tennessee Titans
- Los Angeles Chargers
- Miami Dolphins
- Baltimore Ravens
It's probably a safe bet (barring an unforeseen injury to Patrick Mahomes), that the Chiefs will make the playoffs and be a Super Bowl contender. The Bills should be right there though and I don't think their prediction here is too far off.
