GALLERY: Safety sends ‘The War’ into a frenzy
LARAMIE -- Chase Appleby pounced on Boise State quarterback Brett Rypien with 1:25 left in the fourth quarter, forcing a fumble out of the back of the end zone for a safety, giving the upstart Cowboys a stunning 30-28 victory over 13th-ranked Boise State Saturday night in Laramie.
Ahh yes, you remember that one.

Josh Allen tossed three touchdowns, Brian Hill rushed for 146 yards and Jacob Hollister hauled in six passes for 144 yards and two touchdowns in the win.
Lucas Wacha, Kevin Prosser and Appleby all finished with a sack. Robert Priester recovered a fumble. Rico Gafford picked off a pass and Cooper Rothe nailed both of his field-goal attempts.
Wyoming won the turnover battle, 2-1, and held onto the ball for 35:40 while racking up 489 yards of total offense.
