LARAMIE -- After spending the majority of fall camp with plenty of familiar faces in Buffalo, Jacob Hollister eventually signed on the dotted line in Jacksonville.

It didn't go well.

The former Wyoming tight end caught just nine passes for 55 yards and a touchdown last season. He was only active for six weeks of the Jaguars' 17-game slate.

Hollister inked a one-year deal with Las Vegas Monday, reuniting with former New England offensive coordinator Josh McDaniels. Hollister was an undrafted free-agent signing by the Patriots in 2017 and played 23 games under McDaniels

The Bend, Ore., native eventually landed in Seattle in 2019 and over a two-year span hauled in 66 passes for 558 yards and six touchdowns.

Hollister suited up in Laramie for three seasons after transferring from Arizona Western College. He snagged 75 catches for 1,114 yards and 12 scores, most of that damage coming with Josh Allen under center. Hollister earned first team All-Mountain West honors after rolling up 515 receiving yards and seven touchdowns during his senior campaign.

Hollister joins a tight end group that already features Pro Bowler Darren Waller, Derrick Carrier and Foster Moreau. The Raiders also signed All-Pro wide receiver Davante Adams last week.

Hollister is one of 13 former Cowboys on active rosters in the NFL:

* Josh Allen - Buffalo

* Tanner Gentry - Buffalo

* Carl Granderson - New Orleans

* Andrew Wingard - Jacksonville

* Mike Purcell - Denver

* Rico Gafford - Green Bay

* Logan Wilson - Cincinnati

* Tyler Hall - Los Angeles Rams

* Tashaun Gipson - Chicago

* Austin Fort - Tennessee

* Chase Roullier - Washington

* Marcus Epps - Philadelphia

Granderson signed a two-year deal to remain with the Saints in early March. He registered a career-high 25 tackles and added three sacks in 2021. The defensive end's deal is reportedly worth 965,000 in 2022. Granderson will land an additional $4.3 million over the two years, including a $240,000 signing bonus, according to ESPN's Field Yates.

Gafford reached a deal with Green Bay on Jan. 26 after spending last season on the practice squad in Denver.

Before the end of the season, Gentry signed a reserve/ futures contract in Buffalo. That is a two-year deal reportedly worth $1.675 million.
