Indianapolis Waives Former Wyoming Running Back Titus Swen

LARAMIE -- Nine days.

That's how long Titus Swen's tenure in Indianapolis lasted after inking a free agent deal April 29 with the Colts. The former Wyoming running back was waived Monday and is now in search of his next NFL home.

Swen, a 5-foot-11, 206-pound Fort Worth product, is one of five Cowboys who received a post-draft invite to camp, joining fellow ball carrier Xazavian Valladay (Houston), cornerbacks Azizi Hearn (Las Vegas) and CJ Coldon (Minnesota), along with offensive tackle Eric Abojei (Miami).

In just three seasons -- one as a starter -- Swen rolled up 2,161 rushing yards, falling just outside the school's Top-10 list. The junior was dismissed from the program after the 2022 season finale for violating team rules. He reportedly agreed to a deal with the Colts worth a guaranteed $3,000, per reports.

Swen led the Cowboys with a career-high 1,039 rushing yards in 2022 and found the end zone eight times. He also snagged 14 catches out of the backfield for 108 yards. Swen was invited to the annual NFLPA Collegiate Bowl, where he rushed for a team-best 73 yards on just eight carries.

He did not play in Wyoming's Arizona Bowl matchup against Ohio.

Wyoming currently has 13 players littering NFL rosters.
