LARAMIE -- The Mountain West Conference has arguably never been deeper.

For instance, Colorado State was ranked in the Top 25 just last week. They will likely be the No. 7 seed at the conference tournament, appearing in a play-in game in Las Vegas. San Diego State, a program that danced all the way to the National Championship game a season ago, won't get a bye, either.

Wyoming will be the eighth seed and will take on Fresno State Wednesday at noon inside the Thomas and Mack Center.

Cody Tucker and Jared Newland chat about this Cowboys team and what they can accomplish in Sin City. There is certainly no pressure for Jeff Linder's squad. That comes with no expectations.

Imagine if I told you back in October that Wyoming would finish the season with at least 14 victories, including seven in league play (The Pokes are playing Fresno State in the regular-season finale as we speak.)
