A native of Los Angeles, Calif., Meyer averaged 18.5 points per game and added 5.5 rebounds. He also added three assists per contest and shot 60 percent from both the field and from behind the arc. He knocked down three triples per game.

Meyer recorded 19 points in his first collegiate contest against Northern State. It was the most in a season opener by a freshman since Marcus Williams recorded 20 points against Mississippi Valley State in 2020, making it the second most by a Cowboy freshman in the MW era of Wyoming basketball. He added 18 points against Cal State Fullerton with 13 points coming in the second half.

He helped lead the Cowboys to 90 or more points in the first two games of the season for the first time since doing so during the 1990-91 campaign.

University of Wyoming’s Top 50 Football Players

During the summer of 2021, 7220Sports.com counted down the Top 50 football players in University of Wyoming history, presented by Premier Bone & Joint Centers, Worthy of Wyoming.

The rules are simple: What was the player's impact while in Laramie? That means NFL stats, draft status or any other accolade earned outside of UW is irrelevant when it comes to this list.

This isn't a one-man job. This task called for a panel of experts. Joining 7220's Cody Tucker are Robert GagliardiJared NewlandRyan Thorburn, and Kevin McKinney.

We all compiled our own list of 50 and let computer averages do the work. Think BCS -- only we hope this catalog is fairer.
