
Cowboy Basketball Announces Conference Slate
LARAMIE -- The Wyoming Cowboys in conjunction with the Mountain West Conference announced on Wednesday the conference slate for the 2025-26 season along with the national television schedule.
The Pokes will play seven nationally televised games with four contests at home and three on the road. The schedule also features five Saturday home contests.

Wyoming opens the conference schedule hosting new conference foe Grand Canyon on Saturday, Dec. 20. Other Saturday matchups include a contest with San Jose State on Jan. 24 and the Border War on Jan. 31 in a contest on FS1. Wyoming also hosts Utah State on Saturday, Feb. 7 in a game on CBS Sports Network. The final Saturday home contest is against Air Force on Feb. 28.
Other home contests include UNLV on Jan. 6 on CBS Sports Network. Wyoming will host San Diego State on Jan. 14 in the contest also on CBS Sports Network. UW will host Boise State on Jan. 20 and Fresno State on Feb. 17. UW closes out the home schedule with Nevada on March 3.
The road portion of the schedule opens on Dec. 30 at Air Force and continues that Saturday (Jan. 3) at New Mexico in a game on CBS Sports Network. Other road television contests include a trip to Utah State on Jan. 28 and a contest at San Diego State on Feb. 3 with both being broadcasted on CBS Sports Network. The Border War contest at Colorado State is set for Valentine’s Day.
Game times for contests will be released over the coming weeks. Wyoming will play Northern Colorado in an exhibition contest in Gillette on Saturday, Oct. 18 at 4 p.m. and will face College of Idaho on Saturday, Oct. 25 at 12:20 p.m. in the Arena-Auditorium.
