Heather Ezell announced this week the additions of forwards Kaylan Deveney and Merceius Mili to the Cowgirl program.

Deveney, who stands 6-foot-3, spent her first three collegiate seasons at Rider, appearing in 70 career games. She averaged 4.5 points and 2.4 rebounds per game during her three seasons. During her sophomore campaign, Deveney led Rider and ranked 11th in the MAAC in blocks (0.8) and steals (1.5) per game.

In 2023-24, Deveney became the first Bronc since 2016 to start in her first game as a true freshman.

The Medford, N.J., native played three seasons at Shawnee High School and her senior season at Life Center Academy, where she helped lead it to a NACA Championship.

The 6-foot-1 Mili is a native of Lehi, Utah and spent her freshman season at Utah Tech.

Mili played in 24 contests last season for the Trailblazers and averaged 2.7 points and 1.3 rebounds per game in 11.5 minutes of action per contest. Mili scored a career-high 11 points on 5-of-7 shooting in February against Cal Baptist.

At Skyridge High School, Mili was first team all-region and second team all-state following her senior year after averaging 15.6 points per game. Her junior campaign, Mili averaged 11.6 points, 5.2 rebounds, 1.4 assists and 1.8 steals per game.

Mili also played for the Mountain West Premier EYBL and Utah Lady Prospects club teams.

Wyoming earlier added a third member to this transfer class, inking Hayley Johnson, a 6-foot-2 forward who spent her first two seasons at San Jose City College. She is a native of Sunnyvale, Calif.

Johnson, who made 27 starts at SJCC in her sophomore campaign, averaged 19.7 points, 7.8 rebounds and 2.8 assists per game while shooting 59.5-percent from the floor. Johnson helped lead the Jaguars to the second round of the 3C2A Women's State Basketball Championships. Johnson scored in double figures 26 times in 2025-26 and had 13 games scoring 20-plus and recorded seven double-doubles.

The Fremont High School alum averaged 13.8 points and 10.9 rebounds per game on 55.5-percent shooting during her freshman campaign at San Jose City. At FHS, Johnson also participated in volleyball and track & field.

A trio of returners, including the team's third-leading scorer, forward Jane Rumpf, have also announced their intentions to stay with the program for the 2026-27 campaign. Guards Payton Muma and Kati Ollilainen will also be back in the fold.
