Wyoming Receives Commitment from 6’6″ Senior Wideout
LARAMIE -- Wyoming just added another big outside target for Kaden Anderson.
Michael Fitzgerald II, a 6-foot-6, 210-pound junior who spent the last two seasons at the University of Central Missouri, has committed to the Cowboys, becoming the second transfer to sign with the program since last Saturday's spring game.

The Atlanta native originally committed to UMass out of high school and played his first two collegiate seasons in Amherst, redshirting during the 2021 campaign.
Bart Edmiston Jr., a punter from Jones Community College (Miss.) is also coming to Laramie, he announced on social media last Monday.
Fitzgerald, who was in attendance inside War Memorial Stadium, has one season of eligibility remaining.

Wyoming now has seven wideouts on the roster who are at least 6-foot-2. Fitzgerald is tied for the tallest with Clay Nanke, who made the transition from tight end to receiver this offseason.
Fitzgerald snagged 23 passes for 309 yards and three touchdowns last fall, helping lead one of the top passing offenses at the Division-II level.
In an early November road outing at Pittsburg State (Kan.), he hauled in four balls for a season-high 108 yards and a score. That came courtesy of a 62-yard pitch and catch.
Fitzgerald added six catches for 69 yards the following week.
He capped his first season in Warrensburg with 526 receiving yards and five touchdowns on 32 receptions.
