HOUSTON, Texas – The University of Wyoming men’s swimming and diving team ended a solid day two of the WAC Championships Thursday evening.

After day two, the Cowboys are currently in fourth place with 181 points.

The first event of the evening resulted in yet another school record, with Luke O’Connor, Quinn Teller, Jakob Borrman and Gavin Smith swimming a 1:18.77 in the 200-yard freestyle relay to claim fourth place.

The 500-yard freestyle A final had two Cowboys in it, with Caleb Ozenne finishing fifth (4:23.59) and Adam Pannell coming in eighth (4:26.69). Derek Long represented Wyoming in the B final, finishing in seventh (4:29.06).

Andrew Ravegum turned in a sixth-place performance in the 200-yard IM, going a time of 1:46.40. In the B final, Kellen Chadderdon finished fourth (1:48.99) while Cameron Knox came in seventh (1:49.60).

In the 50-yard freestyle A final, Quinn Teller logged a 20.15 on his way to an eighth-place finish. In the B final, Borrman finished fifth (20.34) while O’Connor finished eighth (20.52).

The final event of the evening, the men’s 3-meter springboard resulted in Bruno Grau finishing eighth off a score of 289.10.

The Cowboys are back in action for day three of the WAC Championships tomorrow.

Day One Recap

Davis, Louie, Smith and Teller broke the school record in the 200-yard medley, claiming fourth place on a time of 1:26.56.

Wyoming’s first podium finish of the 2025 WAC Championships came in the 800-yard freestyle relay with a third-place finish. Smith, Pannell, Ravegum and Ozenne swam a collective time of 6:26.58.

In the 1-meter springboard, Campbell took 11th off a score of 274.95 while Grau finished 13th with a score of 259.20.
