Wyoming Cowboys in the NFL: Week 4
LARAMIE -- A pair of Jacksonville defenders had their best outing of the early season across the pond and that gunslinger in Western New York is firing on all cylinders since an opening-night hiccup in the Big Apple.

Josh Allen, Buffalo Bills, Quarterback
Former Wyoming quarterback Josh Allen tossed four touchdown passes Sunday in a 48-20 dismantling of division rival Miami. He had just four incompletions on the afternoon while throwing for a season-high 320 yards. Allen also added a rushing touchdown in the rout. Over his last three games, the Bills' signal caller has completed 72-of-94 throws for 812 yards. He's added eight touchdowns through the air and two more on the ground.
Carl Granderson, New Orleans Saints, Defensive end
Fifth-year edge rusher Carl Granderson capped his Sunday with four tackles, including half a tackle for loss, in a 26-9 home loss to Tampa Bay. The Sacramento, Calif., product now has 13 tackles, 2.5 sacks and a forced fumble for the 2-2 Saints.
Logan Wilson, Cincinnati Bengals, Linebacker
While the Bengals (1-3) have become known for slow starts, Logan Wilson has not. The former Wyoming linebacker from Casper tallied four tackles, including three solo stops, in a 27-3 setback at Tennessee. Wilson now has 26 tackles, a pair of stuffs and two interceptions.
Tashaun Gipson, San Francisco 49ers, Safety
The ageless Tashaun Gipson registered five tackles out of the San Francisco secondary in Sunday's dominating 35-16 victory over visiting Arizona. The 12th-year safety from Dallas now has 15 tackles through four games.
Marcus Epps, Las Vegas Raiders, Safety
Former Wyoming walk-on Marcus Epps finished with four tackles, including a half-a-stop for loss, in the Raiders 24-17 loss Sunday in Los Angeles. Epps now has 19 stops on the season during his first year in Sin City.
Andrew Wingard, Jacksonville Jaguars
Andrew Wingard tallied a season-high two tackles Sunday in the Jaguars 23-7 victory over the Falcons inside London's Wembley Stadium. The former UW safety now has four tackles on the year.
Mike Purcell, Denver Broncos
The 6-foot-3, 328-pound Mike Purcell was placed on the inactive list during the Broncos first win of the season Sunday in Chicago. Denver rallied from 21 down in the second half to knock off the Bears, 31-28.
Chad Muma, Jacksonville Jaguars
Devin Lloyd out, Chad Muma in. Jacksonville's starting middle linebacker will reportedly miss two games after undergoing hand surgery, cracking the door for the former UW standout. Muma took full advantage of the opportunity Sunday, racking up a season-high seven tackles in a 23-7 victory over the Falcons in London. Muma also broke up two passes in the win.
