Wyoming Set to Ink Another Defensive End in ’25 Class
LARAMIE -- Jay Sawvel has searched high and low this offseason for disruptors on the defensive side of the ball.
He found just that in Jason Handy.

The 6-foot-4, 220-pound edge rusher from Cedar Park, Texas announced his commitment to Wyoming in mid-January. He will officially sign on the dotted line Wednesday, becoming the sixth defensive end to join the program this winter.
Handy said he will also compete at the long snapper position.
Handy tallied 10 sacks and registered 30 quarterback hurries during his senior campaign. He tacked on three forced fumbles in his final year at Vista Ridge High School. He was named the District 25-6A Defensive MVP.
As a junior, Handy finished with three sacks and a dozen hurries.
He was also recruited by Texas A&M-Kingsville, West Texas A&M, North Texas and Navy.
