LARAMIE -- It may resemble directions on a shampoo bottle, but that’s the most appropriate way to describe what Josh Allen is doing.

It’s rinse, lather and repeat.

Allen made history in the Bills’ 40-14 victory over the New York Jets on Sunday, which locked Buffalo into the AFC’s No. 2 seed. His big game gave him 40 touchdowns in 2024, marking the fifth straight season of at least 40 touchdowns, and that’s the first time that feat has been accomplished in the history of the game.

Allen’s final stat line Sunday was 16-for-27 for 182 yards and two touchdowns. He added 17 yards on five carries with another score. For the season, Allen is 307-for-483 for 3,731 yards with 28 touchdowns and just six picks, while adding 531 rush yards on 102 carries with 12 scores.

Buffalo, which is 13-3, travels to New England in Week 18. There’s a high likelihood that Allen will only play a small portion of the game with very little left to accomplish in the regular season for the Bills.

Below is a list of the other former Wyoming Cowboys and how they performed in Week 17:

Andrew Wingard, Jacksonville Jaguars
Wingard enjoyed another good game in the Jaguars’ 20-13 victory over Tennessee. He recorded three tackles. For the season, Wingard has five tackles and three passes defended after missing most of the first half of the year with injury. Jacksonville, which is 4-12, travels to Indianapolis in Week 18.

Carl Granderson, New Orleans Saints
Granderson had another solid game in what’s becoming another strong season for the defensive end. He made three tackles in the Saints’ 25-10 loss to Las Vegas. For the season, Granderson has logged 56 tackles, 5.5 sacks, eight tackles for loss, one forced fumble, one pass defended and 13 quarterback hits. New Orleans, which is 5-11, travels to Tampa Bay in Week 18.

Tashaun Gipson, San Francisco 49ers
Gipson didn’t record a stat in the 49ers’ 40-34 loss to Detroit. For the season, he’s registered three tackles and one pass defended. San Francisco, which is 6-10, travels to Arizona in Week 18.

Chad Muma, Jacksonville Jaguars
Muma didn’t record a stat in the Jaguars’ 20-13 win at Tennessee. For the season, Muma has logged 31 tackles. Jacksonville, which is 4-12, travels to Indianapolis in Week 18.

Frank Crum, Denver Broncos
Crum didn’t play in the Broncos’ 30-24 overtime loss at Cincinnati. For the season, Crum has played in six games, participating in 33 snaps with 24 of those occurring on special teams. Denver, which is 9-7, hosts Kansas City in Week 18.

Logan Wilson, Cincinnati Bengals
Wilson was placed on injured reserve with a knee injury prior to Week 14. For the season, Wilson recorded 104 tackles, two tackles for loss, two forced fumbles, two fumble recoveries, four quarterback hits and one pass defended.

Marcus Epps, Las Vegas Raiders
Epps’ season came to an end in Week 3. He tore his ACL after a 10-tackle effort. Epps finished the season with 19 tackles and one tackle for loss.

Treyton Welch, New Orleans Saints
Welch is currently participating on the Saints’ practice squad. He has yet to be elevated this season.

University of Wyoming’s Top 50 Football Players

During the summer of 2021, 7220Sports.com counted down the Top 50 football players in University of Wyoming history, presented by Premier Bone & Joint Centers, Worthy of Wyoming.

The rules are simple: What was the player's impact while in Laramie? That means NFL stats, draft status or any other accolade earned outside of UW is irrelevant when it comes to this list.

This isn't a one-man job. This task called for a panel of experts. Joining 7220's Cody Tucker are Robert GagliardiJared NewlandRyan Thorburn, and Kevin McKinney.

We all compiled our own list of 50 and let computer averages do the work. Think BCS -- only we hope this catalog is fairer.
